Until We Have Faces

Until We Have Faces is the latest album release from two times Grammy nominated Christian Rock band Red. The album seems to follow the bands famous mingle of soft and heavy instrumentals to help maintain the flow of meaningful lyrics. In my opinion, there are three types of music. The first type is those songs which only a minority enjoy, the second type is enjoyed by most people after repetitious listening and the third is enjoyed instantly by most listeners and usually has the highest play count on their ipods or computers. Until We Have Faces fits the third description flawlessly.

This work of genius may annoy you if you insist on having a diverse style though despite this, it is definitely worth buying. You will not regret it.

Easterfest only days away

Finally, it is becoming colder in Queensland. Summer is gone and this cool change is a great reminder of the approaching Christian Music Festival in Toowoomba. Every year, it seems to slightly cool down just before Easterfest. This brings me a great deal of joy to think of all my great memories from previous years. The change of temperature is just enough to "get me into the mood" for this amazing three day event. The lineup is diverse with many previous instant crowed favorites mixed with some new first time bands.
